Cooloongup Skatepark

Cooloongup is the final facility in a trilogy of Skate Sculpture designed skateparks for the City of Rockingham. At our recommendation and the community’s request, the design brief was to create a transition dominant facility with a smaller street component.

The result is an elongated flow bowl with pockets, extensions, pimples, a roll in, saddle and hips. Both bowl extensions interface as ledges in the street area which also includes a manual pad, rail, slappy curb, hipped quarter pipe and bank. A communal sitting area connects the bowl and street strip to a five-foot mini ramp.
